ABOUT CELC
Canada's Largest Engineering Student-Run Conference
The Canadian Engineering Leadership Conference is an annual, bi-lingual, student-run conference that has two primary objectives. The first is that CELC is the annual general meeting of the CFES and the second is that it provides a platform from which students can collaborate with and learn from our industry partners, sponsors and fellow students. Attracting between 150 and 200 delegates from over 40 engineering schools, CELC is an excellent opportunity to reach out and engage engineering student leaders from every institution and field of engineering.
Delegates attending the Leadership Conference are provided with a fantastic opportunity to meet with and learn from other student leaders and industry professionals. This national transfer of knowledge is invaluable, as it allows students with tangible, real-life examples and advice on how to improve their personal and professional skills, their engineering societies and their faculty as a whole. In addition, CELC boasts a wide range of speakers and topics ranging from professional presentations from our sponsors and industry partners to student-led round-tables and panels that dissect the finer points of running student organizations.
The CFES strongly believes that the Leadership Conference is an
incredible opportunity for engineering students to expand their learning beyond the classroom and provide the maximum possible benefit to themselves, their Engineering Student Organization and their Engineering Faculty.
